All you need to do is catch a Pokémon everyday to build a catch streak and visit a PokéStop everyday to build a spin streak in order to get bonus XP and Stardust. Pokémon Go daily bonus rewards and how streaks work
For the first Pokémon you catch and the first PokéStop you spin each day, you’ll earn some additional XP and Stardust. It doesn’t matter what Pokémon or PokéStop you spin - it can be the same you visit every day - as you’ll still earn the reward and streak for that day. If you do this seven days in a row, you’ll be rewarded with an even larger bonus. On top of this, for the seven day Pokéstop streak, you will receive a Special Evolution Item - such as King’s Rock, Sun Stone, Up-Grade, Dragon Scale or Metal Coat The amount of XP and Stardust you received for your daily streaks used to be lower, but developer Niantic upped these numbers during lockdown in March 2020 to make playing the game easier from home. The table below shows the amount of XP, Stardust and other bonuses currently rewarded for each day of your daily catch and spin streak: The Season of Mythical Wishes continues with the Winter Holiday event, which has brought Mega Glalie to Pokémon Go. Don’t forget to partake in the new Go Battle League season. Elsewhere, be sure to use Daily Adventure Incense for the chance of encountering Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos and Galarian Moltres.

Spinning a Gym Photo Disk also counts as spinning a Pokéstop. Just tap the Poké Ball symbol in the bottom right-hand corner after selecting a Gym to switch to the Photo Disk screen
Using a Lucky Egg will double any XP earned for 30 minutes, while activating a Star Piece rewards 50 percent more Stardust for 30 minutes. This means you can get even more XP and Stardust from your daily streaks when these items are active. We recommend only using these items if you plan to do a lot of activities that award XP or Stardust to get the most out of them
Daily bonus eligibility will reset at 12am local time, so you won’t have to wait a full 24 hours after you last caught a Pokémon or spun a PokéStop to continue your streak You can see what catch or spin streak you are currently on by naigating to the Today View tab. This is found by tapping the binoculars symbol on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, and selecting ‘Today’ from the top tabs. Scroll down to just past your PokéCoins number to see your streaks Make sure you don’t have a full item bag when spinning a PokéStop, otherwise you can’t continue the streak or get any items. You can buy additional space by purchasing Item Bag upgrades from the in-game shop for 200 PokéCoins The daily bonus you receive is in addition to the rewards you get for catching Pokémon or visiting PokéStops - so expect to add (at least) 100 XP for catching a Pokémon and 50 XP for spinning a PokéStop. Using Curveballs will reward even more XP, dependent on if you did a nice, great, or excellent throw Hatching an Egg will not count as catching a Pokémon, so make sure you actually encounter them in the wild to continue your catch streak You can also get medals for catching Pokémon, visiting Pokéstops, and more, giving you extra incentive to keep catching and spinning every day
